Kim and her girls got ready at her parents' house not far from the venue.  All of the girls were great in helping to keep Kim's little guy, Gavin, entertained while Mommy got ready.  As we all know, though...nothing's better than Momma!  The little man helped hold the mirror while Mommy did her makeup and was snuggling while he was entertained by the girls singing 'Old MacDonald'.  Once the girls were ready, the little mister had a nap with Nan and we headed to the venue to meet up with the handsome groom for the first look at 9AM.

Oh, my heart - I wasn't surprised to see yet another beautiful wedding setup at The Homestead on the Nashwaak.  This property has so much character and space, we didn't have to leave the venue to get some amazing photos.  We took advantage of the beautiful scenery from the first look to the little romantic moment in the canoe at the end of the day.

Surrounded by friends and family, including their sweet baby boy, Matt and Kim said their "I do"s down in the field with the beautiful Nashwaaksis River in view (and yes, the venue has the beautiful arbor available).  The happy couple and their guests gathered in the barn for their brunch reception complete with a canoe full of beverages, a mimosa bar, homemade wine, and topped off with some yummy (and beautiful) cupcakes.  I enjoyed all of the little details that the couple put so much time and effort into; from the chalkboard signs to the card chest Kim made with her father.

Congratulations, Kim & Matt!  Wishing you many, many years of health and happiness.
